Summer Fun Returns to Kern County: Splash Pads and Pool Opening Soon!
Get ready to cool off this summer! Kern County Parks and Recreation is opening its splash pads starting May 23, 2026. Enjoy refreshing water play every day from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at these locations:
• Pioneer Park: 4929 Pioneer Drive, Bakersfield
• Casa Loma Park: 521 East Casa Loma Drive, Bakersfield
Beat the heat all summer long at the Rosamond Community Pool at Jim Williford Park, opening June 6, 2026! This free community pool is the perfect spot to stay cool while having a blast.
Rosamond Pool Hours (Thursday-Monday): 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Lap swim (adults only)
• 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Community swim (all ages)
