Due to poor weather today, July 3, the Juneau Fireworks Crew is postponing the annual fireworks show by 24 hours. High winds and heavy rain are expected to continue into tonight, preventing the Juneau Fireworks Crew from being able to safely load and shoot the fireworks safely today.
The show will begin tomorrow, July 4 at 11:59 p.m. to end the Independence Day holiday. Like in previous years, the show will last 22 minutes and can be viewed from Downtown Seawalk. The display is operated by the Juneau Fireworks Crew, a group of licensed pyrotechnic specialists with a strong understanding of safety standards.
