Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas Yan Jiarong Holds End-of-Year Meeting with Foreign Minister Hon. Fred Mitchell
On 20 December 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, held a year-end meeting with Hon. Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas. Parliamentary Secretary Jamahl Strachan, Director General Jerusa Ali, Deputy Director General Gian Dean, Deputy Director General Kemi Jones and Counselor & DCM Zhang Hongliang, were also present.
The two sides reviewed and appreciated the comprehensive progress achieved in China-Bahamas relations in 2025. They discussed plans for bilateral relations in 2026 and exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
