Belarusian President makes new appointments

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko reviewed personnel matters on 23 July.

The head of state appointed:

Vadim Olshevsky as Architecture and Construction Minister;

Sergei Uldinovich as Forestry Minister;

Aleksandr Khudoleyev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan;

Yuri Nikolaichik as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Mozambique (concurrently).

The President approved the appointments of:

Sergei Medzvetskas as Grodno Oblast First Vice Governor;

Aleksandr Maksimchuk as Brest Oblast Vice Governor (overseeing construction, transport, housing and utilities);

Ruslan Zhukovsky as Chairman of the Ostrovets District Executive Committee;

Vitaly Shuleiko as Chairman of the Slonim District Executive Committee;

Igor Averko as Chairman of the Shchuchin District Executive Committee;

Vladislav Gershgorin as Head of the Administration of the Leninsky District of Grodno.
