TRAFFIC ALERT - Sussex County - Closure of Nassau Road at SR 1
Closure of Nassau Road at SR 1 Lewes - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces a road closure on Nassau Road at SR 1 will be implemented starting on September 22, 2025, and continuing through the end of October 2025, weather permitting. This is part of the SR 1 Minos Conaway Grade Separated Intersection project. The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate the installation of storm drain pipes under Nassau Rd. Detour - Motorists traveling northbound on SR 1 will continue past Nassau Rd then take a right returning to Nassau Rd. Motorists traveling southbound on SR 1 will take a left onto Nassau Rd at the first intersection.
