The members of the first College of the Coordination and Monitoring Committee for the National Strategy to Combat Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption met on Monday 22 September.

This was the first meeting chaired by H.E. Mr Christophe Mirmand since taking office as Minister of State.

On this occasion, the Minister of State commended the major work undertaken under the authority of his predecessors, in particular Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, the positive results of which have been recognised internationally, notably with the adoption of the first progress report by the FATF.

The Minister of State also thanked the authorities and departments for the efforts made and underlined the effectiveness of cooperation at the national level.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to review the second progress report, which is to be adopted at the next FATF plenary meeting in October 2025, and to consider the forthcoming deadlines for Monaco.

In this context, the authorities and departments were invited to maintain the rigour and determination they have shown thus far.
