For Joe Giglio, a career in law has always been about more than the practice itself. It's about showing up for the people and institutions that strengthen a community.

With nearly five decades of legal experience, Joe has built a career defined by both professional accomplishment and public service. Throughout that time, he has remained deeply involved in Acadiana, lending his time and leadership to organizations including One Acadiana, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation, the Hospice of Acadiana Foundation, and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. From higher education to healthcare to regional economic development, his work reflects a lifelong commitment to serving the community he calls home.

For Joe, supporting Arete Scholars is a natural extension of that commitment. He believes every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. Having been fortunate to receive a good education himself, he understands the difference that opportunity can make in a young person's life, and he is passionate about helping provide that same opportunity to others.

Through his decades of service across Acadiana and his role on Arete's Louisiana Advisory Board, Joe continues to champion the belief that where a child starts should not determine where they can go. He brings his experience, community connections, and passion for opportunity to the work of helping more Louisiana students access the education they deserve.
