RE: New Long-Term Care (LTC) Web Portal Admission Notification Panel
New LTC Admission Notification Panel Now Available in the Web Portal
The Alabama Medicaid Agency (Medicaid) is pleased to announce the launch of a new LTC Web Portal Admission Notification Panel within the Provider Web Portal. This enhancement provides functionality equivalent to the current LTC admission notification software and offers a more streamlined, web-based option for submitting LTC admission notifications. The Alabama LTC Web Portal Admission Notification Panel is available at no charge to Medicaid providers.
The new panel allows authorized users to submit digital LTC admission notifications on behalf of Medicaid beneficiaries directly through the Provider Web Portal.

The Alabama LTC Web Portal Admission Notification Panel User Manual explains how to correctly complete and submit the digital admission notification form so that admission records process successfully. Then, navigate to 'Information' > 'AL Links' and select the link titled 'LTC Web Portal User Guide' to download the manual.
