On the partial government shutdown:
"I have complete confidence in Speaker Johnson and President Trump leaning in there. But you know, the frustration here is, once again, the Republicans are the party of law and order. The Democrats are the party of defund the police. This is the next chapter in the Democrats refusing to fund DHS, refusing to fund the police enforcement right now. So, I think that's the real issue, that, along with the fact that Congressman Jeffries was kind of left out of the conversation, so he's retaliating now by taking all his votes out of it. Again, the speaker has an impossible task. He only has a one-person margin, but I have confidence that he'll be able to get the job done."
"Well, I think the body cameras probably is reasonable. But the idea of giving making take the mask down. Look, we have folks back home that are being doxed. They're having to hire personal security for their children even, and then on the warrant issue. Look, Barack Obama deported 3 million people under the current system with the current type of warrant. So, I think that's overreach. This is more defund the police type of theories by the Democrat Party right now. Look, I understand the temperature is way too warm in Minneapolis, as the speaker pointed out, the President's turning that temperature down as well. So, I think we need to make sure that we stay true to law and order, and that we make sure that we fulfill our obligations to keep Americans safe, and that if there's three or 400,000 violent illegal aliens out there, we need to get them out of the country."
On Democrats anti law enforcement agenda:
"Well, that's the irony of the whole situation here. Here are the Democrats, they're going to take down funding for FEMA, for the Coast Guard, for TSA as well. Meanwhile, in actuality, ICE and DHS are funded through the tune of $175 billion for funding to take them through probably to 2030. So really, the Democrats, logic doesn't work out here, but I still think the bigger picture is that we're the party of law and order. They're the party of defund the police."
