Continued celebrations of the State Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajikistan's diplomatic missions and consular institutions abroad held celebratory events.

On September 17, 2026, a grand ceremonial event was held in Geneva, Swiss Confederation, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The festive ceremony was attended by representatives of Swiss state authorities, heads and officials of international organizations, including the United Nations Office at Geneva, members of the diplomatic corps based in Geneva, representatives of the business, scientific, and cultural communities, media representatives, and Tajik compatriots residing in Switzerland.

A ceremonial event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in Beijing.

The event was attended by representatives of the state authorities of the People's Republic of China, business and academic circles, international organizations, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the People's Republic of China. Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Liu Bin attended the event as the Guest of Honour.

On September 22, 2026, a celebratory event marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Esteghlal Hotel in Tehran, attended by representatives of the government bodies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps based in Tehran, figures from the host country's scientific and cultural communities, and compatriots.
