Nestlé India extends its Disaster Relief support to flood-hit Uttarkashi; Hands over 2000 relief kits to Hon’ble Chief Minister.

In response to the floods in the Uttarkashi region in Uttarakhand, Nestlé India has stepped forward to help the affected population. It has donated 2,000 essential grocery kits to the Government of Uttarakhand; a gesture aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by families during this challenging time.

Talking about the initiative, Dr. Taruna Saxena, Head, Sustainability and Societal Initiative, Nestlé India, said, "We sincerely hope for the situation in Uttarkashi to get better. We stand in solidarity with the people of the region and hope that the grocery kits would be helpful to them. We are committed to support the region in these testing times."

Kunwar Himmat Singh, Director of Corporate Affairs at Nestlé India, expressed the company's commitment to support the affected communities. "We sincerely hope that our contribution will help provide much-needed food supplies to the people of Uttarkashi. We are committed to support relief efforts in any way we can."

The grocery kits, which were officially handed over to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, include staple food which could sustain a family of four for approximately 15 days.
