116 Ukrainian-Language Audio Guides and 380 Ukrainian Bookshelves Are Already Available Worldwide, with 60 Academic and Educational Institutions Joining the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies - Olena Zelenska on the Results of Cultural Diplomacy

The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, summed up the results of cultural diplomacy projects implemented this year.

"Our language, culture, literature, and science - throughout this year, they have fought for us, and for themselves, just as we have. They defended and represented Ukraine in the world, broke down prejudices, and built mutual understanding," the President's wife noted.

In leading museums, landmarks, palaces, and other notable sites in 59 countries, 116 Ukrainian-language audio guides are now available, including in Türkiye, France, Denmark, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Austria, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Kenya, Rwanda, Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, North Macedonia, Spain, the United States, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Montenegro, Italy, Lithuania, Georgia, Portugal, Thailand, Hungary, Switzerland, Brazil, Slovakia, Norway, Qatar, Estonia, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Albania, Ireland, Poland, Israel, Finland, Australia, Cyprus, Japan, Serbia, the UAE, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, the Vatican, Croatia, Moldova, South Africa, Luxembourg, Jordan, Cuba, Malaysia, Romania, and Belgium.

In 70 countries, 380 Ukrainian bookshelves are in operation, collectively holding 75,000 books. One hundred of these were established this year alone, in Greece, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Morocco, Germany, Moldova, Türkiye, Botswana, Chile, Switzerland, Canada, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Norway, South Africa, Australia, Thailand, Georgia, the Philippines, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Korea, Turkmenistan, Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Colombia, Nigeria, Estonia, Ghana, and Congo.

In particular, over 20 bookshelves have been opened in each of the following countries: Poland, Moldova, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Austria.

So far, 60 academic and educational institutions from 23 countries have joined the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies - a platform uniting universities and academic institutions around the shared goal of spreading reliable knowledge about Ukraine, including its history, culture, and modern society, with special emphasis on Crimea and the Crimean Tatars as an inseparable part of Ukraine's historical, cultural, and social space.

"Ukraine will be studied by students and scholars around the world. This means they will better understand us, our defense, and our right to justice," emphasized the First Lady.

Olena Zelenska expressed gratitude to all involved in implementing these projects and called for continued effective cooperation in the coming year.
