BOULDER, CO., May 7, 2026 - Working Title Food Group, Boulder's acclaimed hospitality and restaurant collective, in partnership with BioMed Realty, the largest private owner of life science and technology real estate serving the nation's innovation industries, and EVG Hospitality, a Boulder-based hospitality management firm, today announced the opening of East & Co., a new market hall, social and events venue and community hub at 2100 Central Avenue in BioMed Realty's Flatiron Park.
East & Co. provides an all-day menu spanning coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a retail market dedicated to locally sourced goods, artisan products and pantry staples. An ongoing partnership with the Boulder County Farmers Market anchors that approach, supplying the kitchen with seasonal produce and helping East & Co. connect with the local purveyors and brands featured throughout the market.
"We want East & Co. to be the central gathering place for East Boulder, especially for the tech and health-focused workforce based in Flatiron Park," said Josh Dinar, founder of Working Title Food Group. "We've got a delicious all-day menu and a variety of spaces designed for how people live, work, eat and drink."
"East & Co. reflects how we think about building environments that support both our tenants and the broader Boulder community," said Jon Bergschneider, BioMed Realty's President of West Coast Markets. "We heard clearly that Flatiron Park was missing a central place to gather, connect and recharge. East & Co. is our response: a hospitality-driven destination designed to meet that need and bring new energy to the campus while supporting local Colorado businesses."
Mornings at the Coffee Bar and Breakfast Counter
East & Co. opens daily at 7 a.m. with a full coffee bar, smoothie and juice bar and breakfast. The coffee bar, open all day, features freshly roasted OZO Coffee alongside pastries from Black Box Bakery. Breakfast includes Moe's Bagels served with daily rotating cream cheeses, a signature East & Co. breakfast sandwich, a "secret" breakfast burrito and a Rocky Mountain açaí bowl. The smoothie and juice bar features multiple house-made options.
Midday at East & Co.
The daytime menu leans into the farmers market ethos that inspired the project. Rotating sandwiches built on Kinship baguettes include a roasted chicken with herb aioli, radish and butter lettuce, and an eggplant caponata with house-made ricotta and fresh basil. The lunch counter includes a grab-and-go burritos and sandwiches, among other offerings. Both counter service and table service are available all day.
From the Kitchen at East & Co.
East & Co.'s specialties are seasonally driven, globally inspired and rooted in local flavors. Highlights include a burger with Colorado grass-fed beef smash patties and smoked gouda, a steak sandwich, a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and a clam po' boy. Small bites, perfect for sharing over drinks, include house-fried chips, whipped feta, lamb kofta skewers, chorizo-stuffed dates and Jacob's Mushroom croquettes.
Dinner Made Easy with Take-Home Options
East & Co. will offer weekly take-and-heat sheet tray meals: fully prepared, oven-ready dinners designed to make a quality meal at home effortless. Rotating offerings will include dishes like braised short ribs with Robuchon potatoes and spring vegetables, or roast chicken with Blumenthal potatoes, asparagus and grilled lemon. A retail section in the heart of the market hall will carry curated bottles of wine and a Boulder-inspired selection of everyday essentials.
Craft Cocktails and Thoughtful Pours
Beverage Director Volkan Olmez, formerly of B&GC at the Halcyon Hotel in Denver's Cherry Creek, brings a practiced hand and a spirit of creative restraint to the East & Co. bar program. The cocktail menu reimagines classics with an innovative twist, including a vesper martini, two spritzes, a seasonal margarita and a house Negroni. Wine by the glass and bottle, draft and bottled beer and several spirit-free options round out the cocktail menu.
"Our bar program complements the many ways we expect people will enjoy East & Co.," Olmez said. "We're excited to meet our regulars and to see what people respond to, which will help direct how our program evolves over time."
A Flexible Space Designed to Move with Your Day
East & Co. is designed for the many ways people will use the space. A lounge area near a grand fireplace invites lingering. A coffee zone by the front windows is built for morning work sessions and catch-ups. A restaurant-inspired setting with booths and tables accommodates lunch meetings and evening dining alike. The outdoor terrace and community lawn, a game room and a private conference room offer even more options, particularly for larger private and semi-private events for groups of all sizes.
"Every part of East & Co. was designed with how people actually move through their day in mind," said Greg Topel, CEO at EVG Hospitality. "The same space that holds a 7 a.m. coffee meeting has to feel right for a working lunch, a glass of wine before a private dinner and cocktail hour with friends. It was built so each of those moments feels like it belongs."
East & Co. is now open at 2100 Central Avenue in Boulder. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reservations are available via OpenTable.
