ARROYO GRANDE, CA - The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department is proud to announce its nomination in The Tribune's Best of the Central Coast contest in two categories: Best Place to Work in the Services Category and Best Summer Camp in the Education Category.
Voting for the annual community-based recognition program is now open through November 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Community members are encouraged to show their support by casting their votes at VoteCentralCoast.com . Community members can vote once each day until the contest closes.
"We are truly honored and grateful for the community's response to our services and recognition through The Tribune's Best of the Central Coast," said Recreation Services Director Sheridan Bohlken. "Our Recreation Services team takes great pride in creating meaningful experiences for our community-from summer camps that spark creativity, learning and friendships to workspaces that value collaboration, innovation, and joy. Being nominated in The Tribune's Best of the Central Coast reflects the dedication and heart of our staff, volunteers, and the many talented individuals who share their passions through our programs in Arroyo Grande. We invite everyone who has enjoyed a class, camp, or community event-or partnered with us to make them possible-to cast their vote and help celebrate the innovators, mentors, and makers whose creativity and care continue to enrich Arroyo Grande, a vibrant and welcoming place for all."
The Best of the Central Coast contest recognizes local businesses, organizations, and community groups that make the Central Coast a special place to live, work, and play. Winners will be announced by The Tribune following the close of voting.
