Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will meet Iceland's Minister for Foreign Affairs Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir in Helsinki on 8 October. Gunnarsdóttir is visiting Finland as a delegate accompanying the Icelandic Presidential couple on their state visit.

The foreign ministers will discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Iceland, and topical foreign and security policy issues, including European security, Ukraine, the Arctic region and the Middle East.
