Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea

On 30 July 2026, in Astana, on the sidelines of the Senior Officials' Meeting held in preparation for the First Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Idibek Kalandar met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Ms. Eui-hae Cecilia Chung.

The meeting focused on preparations for the First Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.

The two sides also discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored opportunities to further strengthen mutually beneficial multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea.
