Tallahassee Police Arrest Suspects in Regions Bank Robbery

Tallahassee Police Arrest Suspects in Regions Bank Robbery

June 25, 2026

The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) has arrested 54-year-old James Bryant in connection to the recent Regions Bank robbery.

On June 22, just before 9 a.m., officers responded to Regions Bank, located at 2266 North Monroe Street, in reference to a bank robbery that had just occurred. Detectives determined that Bryant arrived at the bank in a vehicle occupied by two other individuals. He entered the bank and went to the counter, where he handed the teller a note demanding money. Bryant left with just over $3,000 in cash.

Through investigative efforts, TPD detectives quickly identified Bryant as a suspect. He was arrested and charged with robbery and grand theft. At the time of this arrest, Bryant was in possession of more than $900 in cash, consisting primarily of large-denomination bills, along with additional evidence connected to the robbery.

Prior to Bryant's arrest, detectives also arrested 43-year-old Brandon Dodson, who detectives determined had transported Bryant to and from the bank and later accepted a portion of the stolen money. Dodson has been charged with accessory after the fact to armed robbery and grand theft.

This case is a testament to TPD's ongoing commitment to seeking justice, the speed of real-time intelligence sharing, and the dedication of the men and women of TPD. Anyone with information related to criminal activity is encouraged to contact TPD at 850-891-4200 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Solvers at 850-574-TIPS.

Arrested:
James Dalton Bryant, 54, Robbery, Grand Theft
Brandon Dodson, 40, Accessory After the Fact
