Kicking off on Saturday, June 20, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hot Wheels will showcase a custom America-themed life-size Deora vehicle - one of the most unique Hot Wheels die-cast car designs that was introduced as one of the Original 16 in 1968 - at the city's Hot Wheels Legends Tour stop. The custom-wrapped red, white, and blue Deora will also be on display at additional select Hot Wheels Legends Tour stops across the country, including Birmingham, Ala., Houston and Dallas, Texas and El Segundo, Calif. and more community events throughout the summer. Barbie fans can send mail in style with the new U.S. Postal Service Barbie Commemorative Forever® stamps. Starting July 11, the stamp collection celebrates the Barbie brand's 65-plus year legacy of inspiring imagination and possibility, featuring the iconic doll in 10 careers from across her history. From surgeon to astronaut, paleontologist to soccer player, sign language teacher to music star, Barbie fans can dream big and explore a huge range of possibilities.

In addition to brand activations, Mattel celebrated the third annual International Day of Play and sixth annual Play it Forward Global Volunteer Week where America-inspired activities were incorporated into Camp Mattel, an event for deserving children held earlier this month. Over 700 kids from local elementary schools and non-profit organizations came to Mattel's headquarters for a day of active play and imagination along with red, white and blue colored accessories at the Barbie activity stations and a patriotic firework face paint station.
