SACRAMENTO - Governor Gavin Newsom today proclaimed a state of emergency to support recovery efforts for five severe weather events earlier that caused significant damage in Imperial County, Santa Barbara County, Santa Cruz County, Mendocino County, Sonoma County, Ventura County, and the City of Arcata.
