Working Visit of Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong to London, United Kingdom, 27 to 28 October 2025

Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong spoke at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, on 27 October 2025. In his opening remarks, Senior Minister Lee highlighted Singapore's efforts to uphold the rules-based international order amid a more complex and uncertain global environment. He also emphasised the importance of strengthening multilateral cooperation, to deepen economic resilience and address global challenges.

During the visit, Senior Minister Lee also met former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and engaged British business leaders from the technology and corporate sectors. In addition, he visited the Imperial College London's (ICL) Schools of Convergence Science and met Singaporean students studying in ICL.
