Update: Lincoln Avenue Safety Improvements at Wilson Court and Brookdale Avenue Project
The Lincoln Avenue Safety Improvements at Wilson Court and Brookdale Avenue Project is nearing completion.
Construction began on April 6, 2026, and since then the contractor has completed significant improvements at the intersections of Lincoln Avenue and Wilson Court and Lincoln Avenue and Brookdale Avenue. Improvements include upgraded curb ramps, installation of foundations for the Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), pavement restoration (microsurfacing), and roadway striping.
The remaining work includes completing electrical connections for the RRFBs and installing traffic control devices, including signs, rubber curbs, and delineators.
Construction is anticipated to be substantially complete by June 12, 2026.
