Captrain Portugal extends Kyndryl partnership

LISBON, March 31, 2026 - Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced that Captrain Portugal has extended its partnership with Kyndryl for five years. The expanded agreement includes cybersecurity services, such as CISO as a service, alongside ongoing IT infrastructure management.

Kyndryl will continue to manage and support Captrain Portugal's cloud environments, while adding support for critical systems resilience and reinforcing monitoring services.

"Kyndryl fills a critical gap - bringing deep IT knowledge and cybersecurity expertise that directly strengthens our day-to-day operations," said João Venes, Director of Operations and Head of Security Systems at Captrain Portugal. "As a trusted partner with a deep understanding of our environment, Kyndryl supports our modernization priorities across critical systems. That combination of capability and trust is why expanding Kyndryl's role was a clear decision."

"Kyndryl is proud to build on a collaboration grounded in trust and specialized expertise," said Francisco Caeiro, Senior Managing Consultant, Kyndryl Portugal. "Through this extended agreement, Kyndryl will help Captrain Portugal address evolving technology challenges while maintaining focus on delivering reliable services to its customers."

From the start, Kyndryl has served as a trusted advisor to the Portuguese rail transport company, helping Captrain Portugal address evolving business and technology needs. The expanded 60-month agreement, which includes Kyndryl Consult services, reflects the collaborative nature of the two companies' collaboration, and Captrain Portugal's confidence in Kyndryl's services.
