Student Workers Wanted at the Child Development Center
The LAVC Child Development Center is looking for student workers to help in the classroom and the front desk area for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm or 11am-3pm. Please contact the Child Development Center for more information and to request an application.

LAVC is closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday . Classes will resume and the campus will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.

Open Auditions: Mean Girls, The Musical
Tuesday, September 8 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at VACC 294
The LAVC Theater & Dance Department is holding open call auditions for its Fall 2026 production, Mean Girls, the Musical . The auditions are open to the public. There are two ways to audition: in-person auditions or self-tape submissions. In-person is encouraged and highly preferred.
Soccer vs. Cuesta College
Friday, September 11 at 4 p.m. at Soccer Field
Join us to cheer on the LAVC Women's Soccer Team as they play against Cuesta College . Free admission, so come out and support our Monarchs!
