Groundbreaking Ceremony set for Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts Transformation Project
Illinois State University Board of Trustees and President Aondover Tarhule cordially invite the campus community to the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts Groundbreaking Ceremony and Reception.
The event will take place Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Free parking and golf cart shuttles will be available in the South University Street Parking Garage.

A reception will immediately following the ceremony in the Center for the Performing Arts lobby.
Construction crews began working in early November to prepare the southeast corner of the Quad for the multi-year construction project that will update and add space to the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts (WKCFA). More information about the project can be found on the Facilities webpage.
