Southfield Parks & Recreation to host Rescheduled Summer in the City concert featuring Alise King September 12

Southfield Parks & Recreation will host the final Summer in the City concert of the year featuring powerhouse vocalist Alise King on Friday, September 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road.

Originally scheduled for July 11 and postponed due to inclement weather, this high-energy concert will now close out the season with an earlier start time to better accommodate the earlier fall sunset.

Concertgoers can look forward to a live performance from Detroit's own Alise King, known for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. The event will also feature a variety of food trucks on site, including Hero or Villain, Egg Roll Diva, and Mookey's Beans & Greens. This event is sure to be a great evening of music, food, and fun with family, friends, and neighbors. Admission is free and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
"Alise King brings such incredible energy to the stage, and we're excited to end our Summer in the City series on a high note," said Nicole Bush, Recreation Programmer - Cultural Arts. "We invite the entire community to join us for one last celebration of music under the stars."
