CONGRESSMAN CARLOS A. GIMENEZ JOINS VARNEY & CO. TO DISCUSS THE GROWING THREAT OF SOCIALISM

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez joined Fox Business's Varney & Co. to discuss the growing influence of the far left within the Democratic Party. During the interview, Congressman Gimenez warned that moderate Democrats are losing ground to the party's most radical elements and argued that the movement increasingly embraces authoritarian ideas under the banner of socialism.

Congressman Carlos Gimenez said, "What is happening in New York, with those supposed democratic socialists? No, they are not. They are actually fascists wrapped in socialism. There are images coming out of New York that are frightening to me... I have seen images like that before, back in the 1930s in Germany."
