Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan received the newly-appointed Ambassador of Egypt
29 September, 2025On September 26, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia Amal Afifi on the occasion of handing over the copies of credentials.
During the meeting, the sides touched upon the deep historical ties between the peoples of Armenia and Egypt, and underscored the importance of active mutual contacts between the two countries at the current stage, including high-level visits.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the newly-appointed Ambassador of Egypt also discussed issues on the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Egypt in fields of education, culture, and other areas, and touched upon the opportunities to expand existing cooperation.
