Rosen Helps Introduce Bipartisan Bill to Provide Critical Munitions to Ukraine

WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) helped introduce a bipartisan bill to provide critical munitions to Ukraine. The Fast Tracking European Investment in Ukraine's Defense Act would boost Ukrainian defense by enabling the timely and consistent delivery of high-volume, low-tech munitions Ukraine needs to defend itself against Russian aggression. The bill would also encourage NATO allies to increase their contributions to Ukraine's defense and invest in the U.S. defense industrial base.

"For over four years, Ukraine has been fighting back against Putin's unprovoked and illegal invasion to protect its sovereignty and prevent a broader war in Europe," said Senator Rosen. "I'm proud to join this bipartisan bill, which will help ensure that Ukraine can swiftly get the munitions it needs to defend itself against Russian aggression, while also providing our European allies an opportunity to more effectively do their part in supporting Ukraine and helping defend democracy on the continent."

As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Senate NATO Observer Group, Senator Rosen has consistently supported Ukraine in its fight against Russia's war of aggression. In 2024, Senator Rosen helped pass a bipartisan aid package that provided security assistance for Ukraine. The package included over $60 billion in defense assistance to Ukraine as well as nearly $14 billion to support Ukraine's purchase of American-made weapons. Earlier this year, she introduced the bipartisan Strategic Unmanned Systems Partnership Act to strengthen U.S.-Ukraine defense cooperation to co-develop and co-produce drones and other unmanned systems.
