The Center for International Studies and Programs brings together American families and international students every year to celebrate Thanksgiving as part of the campus internationalization efforts.
American families can open their homes to share a meal with international students on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, or on another date that they will host a Thanksgiving dinner.
"Thanksgiving is a time to express gratitude and build community. By opening our homes and hearts, we remind one another that friendship and kindness have no borders," said Xinren Yu, director of the Center for International Studies and Programs. "The conversations, laughter and understanding that happen around the table often become lasting memories for both families and students."
Host families are asked to register online at the CISP application webpage by the Friday, Nov. 14, deadline.
International students or scholars who would like to join an American family for this holiday celebration, should complete the online International Guest Application on the CISP webpage by the Friday, Nov. 14, deadline as well.
Pairing results will be emailed no later than Friday, Nov. 21.
