Graduating students have rated the University of Worcester very highly in the latest annual National Student Survey (NSS), with several courses receiving top marks for the quality of teaching, academic support and learning resources.
Worcester is rated in the top quarter of institutions across six of the main areas of the National Student Survey.Worcester is ranked in the top 20 in the Country for learning opportunities in the latest NSS, which asks final year students to rate their experiences across a range of measures.
Several subjects are also ranked in the top 10 in the country across several measures, including teacher training and forensic science - with 13 number one spots. Of the 38 Worcester courses included in the NSS results, 19 scored 100% for how good staff are at explaining things, with a further 12 scoring over 90% in the measure.
The University scored well above the national average in most areas and is rated in the top quarter of institutions across six of the main areas, including Learning Resources, Assessment and Feedback, Freedom of Expression, Student Voice and the Students' Union.

Worcester is the top multi-subject university in the UK for sustained employment, further study or both in the Government-published Longitudinal Educational Outcomes (LEO) survey (2017-2026). 95% of Worcester graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduating (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2026).
Among the success stories in this year's National Student Survey is Geography, which is ranked number one in the country for Learning Opportunities, Assessment and Feedback and Academic Support. The subject received positivity scores of 100% across 15 of the 34 questions asked in the survey. Finance and Accounting is also ranked number one in the country for Teaching, Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support, and Organisation and Management. It also received 15 100% positivity scores. Psychology and Health is ranked number 1 in the country for Assessment and Feedback and Student Voice, and in the top 10 across all other measures. Sports Coaching achieved 100% positivity ratings in 13 of the measures.
