Dentons HPRP contributes to shaping Indonesia's sustainable transport agenda at IITS 2025

On 26-27 November 2025, our transport and infrastructure team, led by Partner, Hendra Ong, together with Associates, Devandra Maula Zakki, Natasya Gabriela, and Roka Hanan Firmansyah, proudly participated as part of the organizing committee for the Indonesia International Transport Summit 2025 (IITS 2025) held at The Tribrata Hotel & Convention Center, Jakarta. The summit was supported by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development and the Jakarta Provincial Government, reflecting its strategic importance for Indonesia's transport and urban development agenda.
IITS 2025 recorded an impressive milestone, inaugurated by H.E. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Affairs), and attracted 1,283 registrants from 40 countries, bringing together more than 1,000 delegates and more than 50 distinguished speakers. Throughout the summit, participants engaged in practical sessions and the summit featured a wide range of activities, including the opening ceremony, plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, business matching, memorandum of understanding signings, and Jakarta transit tour utilizing public transport such as MRT and Transjakarta buses, culminating in a distinguished dinner reception at Balai Kota DKI Jakarta. Key topics addressed included Implementing Sustainable Urban Railways, Enabling Transit-Oriented Development Through Policy and Investment, and Breakthroughs for Smart and Integrated Logistics and Urban Transportation Systems.
