2026 Budget Hearings Week
There are no public hearings scheduled for the week of September 22, as it is Budget Hearings Week. On Monday, September 15, the mayor submitted the proposed 2026 budget to the City Council. The next step is a series of budget hearings where various city agencies present their budgets, explain their programs, and discuss anticipated spending. Council members will also ask questions about the proposals and expected outcomes. These hearings are an opportunity to follow how the budget will shape city programs and services in the year ahead.

All hearings will be held in the Parr Widener Community Room, located in room 389 of the City and County Building. Seating is very limited, and we strongly encourage watching the streaming at the link below or the archived videos on demand.
