Free FIFA World Cup Watch Parties to Be Hosted by City of Lancaster and AV ALTA FC

Lancaster, CA. June 3, 2026 - Soccer fans across the Antelope Valley are invited to come together this summer as the City of Lancaster and AV ALTA FC launch Summer of Soccer, a series of free community watch parties celebrating one of the world's biggest sporting events. The watch parties will bring residents together at popular City events and gathering spaces throughout Lancaster to cheer on Team USA and enjoy the excitement of international soccer in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Hosted in partnership with AV ALTA FC, the series will feature live match screenings integrated into several of Lancaster's signature community events, creating opportunities for residents of all ages to connect through sport, community, and civic pride.

"Soccer has a unique ability to bring people together across cultures, generations, and backgrounds," said Mayor R. Rex Parris. "As the world's attention turns to the game this summer, we're excited to create opportunities for our community to gather, celebrate, and experience the energy of international competition right here in Lancaster."

In addition to the match broadcasts, attendees can enjoy the amenities and activities already planned at each host event, including local food vendors, community gathering spaces, family activities, and live entertainment. The watch parties are free and open to the public.
