Creative Greensboro is accepting applications for its 2026 Neighborhood Arts program, which will award three Greensboro neighborhoods with $20,000 each to create new, original outdoor community art that reflects their community's identity, history, and vision.
Selected Neighborhood Associations or unincorporated groups of residents with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor will organize a community stakeholder group, identify a site for the artwork, select an artist through an open call, collaborate with the artist to develop a community-informed design, and host a public celebration upon completion.
The Call for Community Art is part of Creative Greensboro's Neighborhood Arts program, which brings arts experiences and neighborhood beautification projects to communities across Greensboro. Eligible applicants must represent neighborhoods that are areas of reinvestment, revitalization, or renewal, or that meet area median income eligibility requirements.
Applications are due by 5 pm on Monday, September 14.
For more information, contact Creative Greensboro's Coordinator of Community Partnerships, Karen Archia at 336-433-7362. Apply for the Call for Community Art.
