Slovakian Speaker visits Speaker Nukaga
On Wednesday, 3 September, MUDr. Richard Raši, Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House, and Ms. HORIUCHI Noriko, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming MUDr. Raši to Japan. He stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries, which share values such as freedom and democracy, in maintaining peace and stability in Asia, the Indo-Pacific region and Europe.
Speaker Raši responded by offering his appreciation for the reception. He also expressed hope that his visit to Japan would help deepen bilateral cooperation, including parliamentary exchange.
They also exchanged views on economic cooperation, regional issues and Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
