DETROIT - Tickets are available for Toast of the Town 2025, taking place Oct. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. at TechTown, Wayne State University's entrepreneurship hub.

Now in its 11th year, Toast of the Town is a premier annual networking event that attracts some of the most prominent players in Detroit's entrepreneurial scene for a night of music, food, drinks, immersive experiences, technology demonstrations and more. It celebrates the city's dynamic business leaders and highlights the role TechTown plays in strengthening Detroit's economy. Toast of the Town 2025 is presented by Community Financial Credit Union.

"Toast of the Town is one of the most exciting nights in Detroit. It's not only a great time - it's a demonstration of how connected and vibrant the city's local business community is," said Ned Staebler, president and CEO of TechTown and vice president for economic development at Wayne State. "Best of all, it's TechTown's way of uplifting and showcasing the amazing work of the people we collaborate with every day. No matter who you are, join us - it's the night we circle on our calendars every year for a reason."

This year's all-inclusive tickets are $150 and provide guests with unlimited food, drink and fun. They also help TechTown pay it forward to its ecosystem partners, covering the cost of attendance for budding entrepreneurs.

More than a dozen TechTown alumni-owned local businesses, organizations and tech entrepreneurs will be on site throughout the event. For food, attendees can enjoy meals, snacks and refreshments from Baobab Fare (Waka Food Truck), Da Bomb Taco, Paradise Street Eats, Yumaste Mindful Bakery, and For the Love of Cheesecake, and more. For immersive experiences and tech demos, guests can visit vendors such as EvaGenomics, POGO, Ciyfr, motmot, Civilized Cycles, Wellness Weirdos, and OneSix Energy.

TechTown provides programs, education and resources for early- to growth-stage small businesses and tech entrepreneurs. Since 2007, the organization has supported upwards of 7,000 businesses, which have created more than 2,300 jobs and raised more than $420 million in startup and growth capital. Part of Wayne State's Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, TechTown has played a vital role in creating a prosperous city and region and amplifying the university's annual economic impact for more than two decades.
