Reed Hastings ’83 on AI Shifting Focus Back to the Humanities
Hastings, who was a math major at Bowdoin before earning his master's in computer science at Stanford University, says following a period where STEM "practically took over," that "maybe what we'll see is a rotation back to the humanities into understanding a combination of history and literature."
