Rep. Tipsword Recognizes National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Pontiac, IL - State Representative Dennis Tipsword (R-Metamora) has worked in law enforcement for over 30 years, currently serving as the Chief Deputy in the Woodford County Sheriff's Office. With January 9^th being National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Rep. Tipsword has released the following statement:

"On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, I want to recognize all of my peers and faithful public servants who risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe. I admire your unwavering commitment to serve and protect, no matter the circumstances involved. Law enforcement officers have incredibly difficult jobs, and in many cases, they have very dangerous jobs. On this day, I hope everyone can stop, take a moment, and show support for their local law enforcement officers. No gesture is too small, and any act of kindness is greatly appreciated."
