Seeking the public’s help locating a missing and endangered child

Eugene Police has taken a report of a missing, endangered child who autism and would like your help to locate him. Dakota James Erwin, age 12 and who functions cognitively around age 6, is believed to have left his home in the 1500 block of Walnut Street on an adult-sized mountain bike around 7 a.m. today. He is described as a 12-year-old white male juvenile, about 5'0" tall, 90 pounds, with bright red medium-length curly hair. He was last seen wearing jeans and no shirt.
