The Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is inviting the public to participate in a new digital public open house for the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP), an effort to improve transportation safety and reduce serious injuries and fatalities across the Greater Greensboro area.
The digital public open house will begin today, Wednesday, February 11, and remain available through Wednesday, March 11. During this time, community members are encouraged to go online to learn more about the project and provide feedback on draft safety strategy recommendations aimed at improving safety for people who drive, walk, roll, bike, and use transit.
The CSAP serves as a strategic roadmap to identify traffic safety challenges and prioritize solutions using a combination of crash data analysis and community input. Public feedback on the draft strategies will play a critical role in shaping final recommendations and guiding future investments to create safer streets throughout the region.
The Greensboro MPO encourages residents, commuters, business owners, and community leaders to participate in the digital public open house. The online format allows participants to review materials at their convenience and share insights, concerns, and ideas about transportation safety in their neighborhoods.
More information and access to the digital public open house can be found at this link.
