About the Gathering
Since 2021, the EU Delegation to the UK has organised EU Citizens' Gatherings every year to support and celebrate EU citizens in the UK and the civil society organisations who support them, recognising their contribution through work, community and culture. It brings together EU citizens, community organisations, UK and EU politicians, academics and decision makers to foster dialogue, build networks and strengthen the connections that matter.
"The EU Citizens' Gathering, celebrates the invaluable contributions that millions of EU citizens are making to the social, economic, and cultural fabric of British society. The event is an opportunity to reflect on the deep, historic and lasting bonds between EU citizens and UK communities -bonds based on shared values, mutual respect, and a future built on cooperation."
