Local schools and organizations encouraged to 'Paint a Plow'

Local schools and organizations are invited to participate in "Paint a Plow" and decorate a city plow blade. The decorated blades will then be used by the City this winter for snow removal, giving local children a chance to see their artwork in action. Paint a Plow will run weekly from Sept. 29 to Oct. 31. Anyone interested in taking part should fill out a Paint a Plow Request form at CityofCR.com/PaintaPlow. Once signed up, Public Works will deliver a plow blade, paint, a tarp, and brushes to the school or organization for a week. Participants are encouraged to use their imaginations and to get creative with painting themes. Once completed, photos of the blade creations can be submitted to [email protected]. They will be shared on the City's website and Facebook page for other residents to see. Please include the name of the school or organization, and a brief description of your creation.
