Meeting with the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Global Communications

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations, Jonibek Hikmat, met with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Ms. Melissa Fleming.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN in the field of global communications, including strategic communications, public information, and cooperation with the media, The parties discussed the coordination of upcoming joint events, as well as the presentation of the priorities and initiatives of both the Republic of Tajikistan and the UN in the areas of peace and culture through effective communication and information tools.
The parties stressed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and continue constructive dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
