Durante a reunião foram abordados assuntos de interesse comum em matéria consular, tendo o Secretário de Estado Emídio Sousa mostrado apreço pela intenção das autoridades ganesas em abrir um Consulado-Geral em Lisboa, sinal do aprofundamento da relação de amizade entre os dois países
