Portion of Chautauqua Park Trail is temporarily closed for railroad crossing repairs

The Sioux City Parks and Recreation Department wishes to notify the public a portion of the Chautauqua Park Trail will be temporarily closed due to repairs associated with the Union Pacific Railroad crossing. The closure will begin on Monday, June 22, 2026, and will remain closed through Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Trail and park users are asked to use caution when in the area and to be respectful of the posted signs and barricades.
