April 20, 2026

Dining at WWU continues to expand access to affordable food options on campus. Students, Faculty and Staff can now use EBT/SNAP benefits at Miller Market, located in Miller Hall, making it easier to pick up everyday grocery essentials on campus.

EBT/SNAP benefits can be used to purchase a variety of eligible grocery and grab-and-go food items, including:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Dairy products such as milk, yogurt, and cheese
  • Bread, bagels, tortillas, and other bakery staples
  • Pantry items like cereal, rice, pasta, beans, and canned goods
  • Refrigerated and frozen meals intended to be eaten later
  • Snack foods and non-alcoholic beverages

Please note that hot foods intended for immediate consumption and non-food items are not eligible for purchase with EBT/SNAP.

Miller Market offers a convenient on-campus grocery option for anyone managing a busy schedule while prioritizing food access and basic needs support.

Students with questions about using EBT/SNAP on campus or who need help enrolling can connect with the Basic Needs Hub for resources and assistance, or visit www.washingtonconnection.org
