The Nebraska Type 3 Incident Management Team application period is now open until December 15, 2025.

WHAT IS THE IMT?

Nebraska's Incident Management Team (IMT) is a Team of trained professionals who provide on-scene, coordinated command and control for complex emergencies, crises, or incidents. The IMT provides standardized methods and procedures by utilizing the National Qualifications System (NQS) and the Incident Command System (ICS).

The mission will be accomplished by using a statewide Incident Overhead Support Team providing rapid needs assessment, support, and direction for state resources and ongoing incident management support.

The IMT operates under the direction of Nebraska's Adjutant General and is comprised of State and Local government and non-governmental personnel.
