RALEIGH - Attorney General Jeff Jackson reached a $4.8 million multistate settlement with an online clothing retailer that includes brands JustFab, ShoeDazzle, and FabKids. North Carolina consumers will receive $197.552.75 in restitution. Eighty-seven customers will get automatic refunds, and others are encouraged to apply for refunds by filing a complaint by Jan. 30, 2026. The settlement resolves claims that the company deceptively marketed its VIP Membership Program to customers and then made it difficult for members to cancel their memberships.

"The money we won back will help refund customers who were misled by these companies," said Attorney General Jeff Jackson. "If you had a bad experience with any of these brands, please file a complaint with our office."

Some North Carolinians will get automatic refunds, but others need to file complaints with the Attorney General's Office by January 30, 2026. If you were misled when you purchased products from these sellers, please file a complaint with our office at https://www.ncdoj.gov/complaint.

The brands, under the name TFG Holding, Inc., offered customers discounted pricing to enroll in the VIP membership program. Customers would then be required to log in regularly each month to opt out of a monthly charge of $49.95, otherwise they'd be charged the amount.

Attorney General Jackson and 32 other attorneys general sued the company alleging that it misrepresented prices on its website, automatically enrolled people into the VIP program without their consent, and then made it hard for customers to cancel those memberships.

Under the terms of the settlement, TFG must do more to get customers' express consent, disclose the terms of the VIP Membership program, stop billing recurring charges, and make it easier for customers to cancel and stop being billed for the membership program.
