STATEMENT: Rep. Min Condemns Islamophobic Attacks Targeting Islamic Society of Orange County

Irvine, CA - Representative Dave Min (CA-47) released the following statement condemning the Islamophobic online threats targeting the Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC):

"I strongly condemn the hateful, Islamophobic rhetoric targeting the Islamic Society of Orange County and believe the perpetrators must be held accountable. ISOC has served Orange County for over 50 years, and its members are a vital part of the fabric of OC. I am proud to stand with them.

"Orange County, like America more broadly, has been a beacon of diversity and we have benefited tremendously from the spirit of inclusivity and multiculturalism that is central to our region. Religious and racial hate is absolutely unacceptable, and now more than ever we must stand up and both condemn hate and make clear to our neighbors that they are welcome and loved here."
