Greetings to employees and veterans of the Russian Federal Nuclear Centre – All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics

The message reads, in part:

"This anniversary is a major and significant event not only for your team, but also for Russia's nuclear industry and for the country as a whole. It was at the Sarov Nuclear Centre that the foundations of the nuclear shield were laid - a shield that has for many years reliably ensured our country's security and sovereignty. It is here that unique engineering solutions were developed, opening up new opportunities for strengthening the defence industry, advancing the energy sector, transport and medicine, and for the exploration of the Arctic, the World Ocean and outer space.

I would like to emphasise that these impressive successes and achievements are founded on the selfless and heroic work of outstanding scientists, engineers and specialists. Their bold, innovative breakthroughs, their enthusiasm and true dedication stand as a vivid example of teamwork at the highest professional level, and of unwavering commitment to their chosen field and the interests of the Motherland.

It is encouraging to see that you are carrying forward the proud traditions of your predecessors and the Centre's veterans, making a substantial contribution to the country's technological independence and to the development of priority areas in science and the economy."
